What Is HormonelQ™ for Men, and How It Guides Your Care Over Time
A “normal” testosterone reading doesn’t always match the rest of the picture: slower recovery, flatter sleep, drive that’s dropped off from where it used to be. HormoneIQ™ is Ivím’s proprietary assessment, built by Dr. Taylor Kantor and Dr. Jessica Duncan, that scores six specific areas of how you’re performing and feeling, then reads that score against your labs.
Here’s what it measures and how it actually shapes your treatment.
The Six Domains HormoneIQ™ Tracks for Men

*These are subjective benefits experienced by patients.
Your HormoneIQ™ scores inform your individualized plan. A low Physical Performance and Energy & Drive score alongside borderline labs can help guide the levels of additional support needed. A drop in Intimacy & Confidence is part of why your provider may consider bundling Tadalafil with Enclomiphene rather than a separate add-on. Your provider reads domain scores next to your labs to decide whether to treat you and how.
Why Symptoms Often Move Before Labs Do
Hormone shifts and lab results don’t move on the same timeline. Energy, recovery, and libido can shift before a lab panel captures a meaningful change, and the reverse happens too: labs can move before you consciously notice a difference. Reassessing your HormoneIQ™ score at each stage of care catches that gap, so a flat lab trend doesn’t get mistaken for a treatment that isn’t working, and a shift in how you feel doesn’t get dismissed as unrelated to your levels.
How HormoneIQ™ Integrates with Provider Visits
You complete HormoneIQ™ at intake, before your labs are reviewed, and again at follow-up visits as your care progresses. Your provider looks at your scores against your labs to decide whether your dose, protocol, or plan needs to change.
What Happens When Your Score and Your Labs Don’t Match
A HormoneIQ™ score and your labs don’t always line up. Sometimes the score comes back low while your labs still read in range. Sometimes it’s the other way around, and a lab flags a low level before you’venoticed anything day to day.
On its own, neither number is a diagnosis. Your provider looks at the full picture, your labs, your HormoneIQ™ score, and your symptoms together. Other factors can influence how you’re feeling too, so your provider considers what else might be contributing to determine which of our treatment options makes the most sense for you.
Common Questions
How often do I retake the HormonelQ™ assessment?
You’ll complete it at intake, then again at each follow-up, typically every 6-8 weeks. This usually happens automatically with your refill request, so you don’t need to schedule a visit for it unless you’d like to talk with your provider directly. If you ever want to check in sooner, you’re welcome to schedule a follow-up anytime
Does a low HormonelQ™ score mean I automatically need medication?
No. Your score is one input your provider considers alongside your labs and health history. It informs the conversation, but doesn’t determine treatment on its own.
Is HormonelQ™ a diagnostic test?
No. It’s a structured symptom assessment, not a lab test or diagnosis. It’s designed to complement your labs, not replace clinical evaluation.
How is this different from just tracking my own symptoms?
HormonelQ™ scores your symptoms across six defined domains in a consistent, structured way your provider can compare visit to visit, and set directly alongside your lab results, rather than a general impression of feeling better or worse.
Your HormonelQ™ score and your labs are designed to work together: one captures how you feel, the other measures what’s happening in your body. Both are part of the same picture your provider uses to build, and adjust, your plan.
The fastest way to see where you stand: take the assessment, then get labs that put a number next to what you’re already noticing
