How the Ivím Health Refill Process Works 

Staying consistent with your wellness plan is one of the most important factors in achieving your health goals. That’s why we’ve designed our refill process to be simple, streamlined, and built around your schedule, so you never have to worry about gaps in your care. 

Here’s everything you need to know about how refills work at Ivím Health. 

Refills Made Easy Through Your App 

Your Ivím Health app is your central hub for managing refills. When it’s time to reorder your medication, you can initiate the process directly from your account. You can request a refill in two ways: by using our quick rapid refill option or by scheduling a video visit if you’d like to talk with a provider about your dose or your progress. 

Here’s how to schedule a refill appointment: 

  • Log into your Ivím Health account via the app or website 
  • Click on “Follow Up Visit or Refill” 
  • Answer the prompted questions 
  • Choose “Video Visit with Provider” 
  • Answer the next set of questions and select “Video Visit” again 
  • Click “Submit” 

From there, you’ll have the option to join the virtual waiting room for same-day availability or schedule a consultation for a later time. If the waiting room option isn’t showing, it means the queue is currently full or you may be outside of our standard video visit hours. You can then simply schedule a time that works for you instead. 

If you don’t feel you need to speak with a provider, you can check eligibility for an asynchronous refill request. Here’s how:  

A provider will review your request, and if eligible, you will receive a refill invoice as soon as the same day.  

Our system also tracks your supply timeline and sends reminders via text or email as your refill window approaches, helping you stay ahead of your schedule. 

What to Expect: Timelines and Delivery 

After your provider approves your refill and payment is complete, here’s what to expect: 

  • Processing and shipping: Orders can take up to  7–14 days from the date of payment for processing, shipping, and delivery. 
  • Status updates: You’ll receive text or email notifications as your order moves through packaging, shipping, and expected arrival stages. 
  • Pharmacy hours: Our partner pharmacies do not operate on weekends or holidays, which may affect processing times. Planning ahead ensures your medication arrives when you need it. 

While some orders may arrive sooner, we recommend initiating your refill request with enough lead time to account for standard processing. 

Staying Connected With Your Care Team 

If you’re enrolled in a multi-month program, your medication is shipped in two-month (56-day) increments. For example, a 4-month program includes 2 shipments, and a 6-month program includes 3. 

To keep your shipments on track, a clinical follow-up is required around the eighth week of your program, or when there are approximately 2 weeks left of medication in your current shipment. You can complete this via a telehealth visit or an online health assessment at no additional cost. 

These touchpoints may seem simple,  but they also offer valuable information that helps your provider ensure you’re progressing safely and effectively. They’re an opportunity for your provider to: 

  • Assess your progress and how you’re responding to treatment 
  • Adjust your dosage based on your individual needs 
  • Address any questions or side effects you may be experiencing 

Completing your follow-up on time helps ensure there’s no gap between shipments. 

You’ll receive a notification in the app when you’re eligible for a refill. Eligibility typically begins after 15 days for 1-month shipments or after 6 weeks for 2-month shipments.” 

Membership and Refill Access 

Your Ivím Health membership ($74.99/month) gives you ongoing access to our medical team, personalized care plans, and the refill process itself. Active membership is required to continue receiving prescription refills. 

Membership includes:

Tips for a Smooth Refill Experience 

To keep your care on track, here are a few best practices: 

  • Set a calendar reminder 1-2 weeks before you expect to need a refill, this gives you buffer time for processing. 
  • Check your app regularly for notifications and messages from your care team. 
  • Keep your payment information current to avoid delays once your order is ready. 
  • Schedule your provider visit early if you’d like to talk through medication adjustments or check in with a provider before your next refill
