Optimization refers to the use of medications, like estrogen and progesterone, to restore balance, which may support mood, energy, metabolism, bone health, and sexual wellness.
At Ivím Health, the Hormone Optimization Program is tailored using individualized hormone therapies delivered via oral capsules or patches. DHEA is offered only as an optional sexual wellness add-on and not part of the core hormone optimization program.
Hormone Optimization Program is Ivim Health’s comprehensive approach to treating the symptoms associated with the menopause transition including medical therapy, supplement integration and lifestyle changes.
Hormone replacement therapy is the use of estrogen and progesterone products to medically treat the decline in hormones that occurs with age.
The Hormone Optimization Program includes:
· All prescribed Hormone Optimization Program medications (estradiol and/or progesterone) for hormone replacement therapy
· Access to longevity and sexual wellness add-ons (e.g., DHEA, PT-141)*

Included hormone medications may vary based on your personalized plan and include:
· Estradiol/Estriol (oral or patch) – May help support bone health, cognitive function, and symptom relief.
· Progesterone (oral capsule) – May help improve sleep, anxiety, and protect the uterine lining.
· DHEA (vaginal cream) – Available only as an optional sexual wellness add-on to support libido and vaginal health.
Here’s what you can expect:

2. Meet virtually with a licensed provider to review your health history and goals.
3. Agree on your treatment program, including prescribed hormone replacement therapy medications and any eligible add-ons.
4. Receive your medications and optional at-home labs for hormone monitoring.

The medications used in the Hormone Optimization Program are generally well tolerated under medical supervision, but may cause:

Yes. The Hormone Optimization Program requires a minimum four-month commitment to allow for treatment efficacy, medication titration, and symptom monitoring. This approach supports long-term results and better patient outcomes.
Labs are not required to start the Hormone Optimization Program, but they’re strongly recommended. If your provider orders labs:
· You’ll receive an at-home hormone testing kit with instructions included
· Labs test for key markers like estradiol, progesterone, DHEA-S, FSH, LH, SHBG, and more
· Results are reviewed during follow-ups to optimize dosing
Yes. Ivím Health offers sexual wellness treatments as optional add-ons, including:
· PT-141 (Bremelanotide) troches which may be helpful for low libido
· DHEA vaginal cream that may potentially decrease vaginal dryness and increase sexual satisfaction
· Apomorphine/Oxytocin troches that may enhance sexual climax and bonding
