Ashley Carunchio has been a board-certified nurse practitioner since 2016 and a registered nurse since 2006. Prior to working in obesity medicine, she worked in primary care pediatrics, women's health, and as an RN in a busy emergency department and inpatient addiction treatment facility. Ashley finds great satisfaction in providing individualized care and quality education, actively listening to her patients and working with them to develop, achieve, and maintain their health and wellness goals.

Ashley Carunchio graduated from The University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing followed by a Master of Science in Nursing: Healthcare Administration. She then completed a Post-Master's Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate program at Wilmington University, graduating in the top 10% of her class. Ashley remains up to date on the most current research surrounding medical weight loss and overall wellness, and she plans to obtain additional certifications in these areas.
