Who should not use NAD+? 

NAD+ should be avoided the following cases: 

  • Pregnancy or Breastfeeding: safety not established. 
  • Uncontrolled medical conditions such as active cancer. 
  • Allergy: to NAD+ or its precursors. 

What should I tell my provider before using NAD+? 

NAD+ may interact with other medications or conditions. Tell your provider about:

  • Mitochondrial disorders or neurological conditions

What are some precautions I should take with NAD+?

What are the common side effects of NAD+?

What are the more serious side effects of NAD+? 

Although rare, discontinue use and seek medical advice if you experience:

  • Chest pain or palpitations 
  • Persistent nausea or vomiting 
  • Signs of liver stress (jaundice, dark urine) 

Call 911 or seek emergency care in the event of serious reactions. 

How is NAD+ stored? 

  • Temperature: store oral supplements at room temperature (up to 77°F / 25°C).  For injectable medications, follow the directions on your medical vial. 
  • Protection: keep in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. 

Keep out of reach of children. 

What other safety information should I know about NAD+? 

  • NAD+ is generally considered safe when used as directed. 
  • Do not exceed recommended dosages. 
  • Always follow your provider’s instructions and report any unusual symptoms.
