As a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, Courtney has worked in pediatric palliative care, pediatric urgent care, and aesthetics before transitioning into weight management with Ivim. Courtney's personal experience and success with bariatric surgery and GLP medications lead her to a career in obesity medicine where she is passionate about supporting and empowering patients as they navigate their own personal weight loss journeys.

Courtney completed her Associates Degree in Nursing from Gulf Coast State College followed by both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. While at South Alabama, she was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and graduated in the top 10% of her undergraduate and graduate classes. Courtney enjoys staying up to date with the latest research in obesity, functional health, and longevity.
