Dr. Mel Skoff has been a board-certified Nurse Practitioner for over 8 years. She started as a hospitalist, Emergency Medicine, and Urgent Care and has now transitioned to obesity medicine. She is also a faculty member at a university and genuinely enjoys teaching patients and students about healthcare.

Dr. Mel Skoff graduated with her DNP in 2017 and then went on to complete her Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification in 2021. She completed her Advanced Education Certificate in Obesity Medicine in 2025. Through maintaining a teaching practice, she stays up-to-date in obesity medicine and attends frequent conferences.
